39 AIQS News 82 Formació AIQS Formación AIQS AIQS Training What are the channels of commer- cialization for your product? From working at Google, we built a lot of expertise in online marketing. So a major channel is going to come through our website www.ibreve. com. But we are also looking into new opportunities like our instagram channel (www.instagram.com/ibreve ). Of course we also work with offline distribution partners, be it within sport and fashion industry, or through pharmacies. What are the main difficulties facing a health startup like yours? There is a popular saying in the startup community: ‘Hardware is hard!’ But on the other side it is also very rewarding! In the end you have something beautiful and precious in your hand - something as precious as your health. What are your medium-term plans? We currently test if iBreve’s existing technology can be integrated into a specifically designed wearable for epilepsy patients. Currently there is no cure for epilepsy and some patients suffer from several epileptic seizures a day - often triggered by stress. The unpredictable nature of seizures causes the largest burden for patients as it literally disrupts their lives. We may be able to detect and predict epileptic seizures based on a number of vital signs, in particular breathing patterns. What are the values of your company? Our vision is to create a world free of stress-related diseases. Stress is the number #1 cause for many diseases. Stress impacts our private life, our professional life and our society as a whole. Our values prevention, innovation, diversity, global reach are closely connected to our vision. How many people do you work in the company? We are a team of five with experiences fromworking at Google, digital health & psychology and looking to grow! If you have experience with wearable engineering, come talk to us! What are the advantages of collaborating with the IQS Tech Factory? The IQS Tech Factory provides us a unique opportunity to tap into their local and international network. Also providing a platform for startups to help each other is super important. The whole Tech Factory team - Oriol, Cristina, Ena and all the others - are fantastic and we are very thankful to have their support. We can highly recommend any startup to join one of their programs! ADVICES TO ENTREPRENEURS 1. Connect, be open and find new paths. 2.
