A September of solidarity: AIQS Alumni and Fundació Salut Alta join forces to help children and families!

The purpose of the NGO is to accompany and educate children, adolescents and families in the neighbourhood of La Salut in Badalona to become active members of change towards a more cohesive and fairer society.

The directory, a digital tool for community Building

Being an IQS alumni gives you access to a wide network of contacts. In this context, and amid the digital era, the directory was created to be the link between alumni and the university, to accompany them throughout their personal and professional careers.

There are already more than 600 people registered on the AIQS Alumni Life platform; these people belong to 42 different professional sectors and are spread all over the world. There is no additional cost to join the alumni community, but there is an option to become a member, whereby you can enjoy additional benefits by paying an annual fee.

The Fundació Salut Alta

The Fundació Privada La Salut Alta is a private non-profit foundation, born in 2004 from the Christian community, to help in the integral development of the population of the neighbourhood, offering special attention to minors and the neediest and vulnerable people, through education.

Its mission is based on welcoming minors and their families in situations of vulnerability and risk of social exclusion, and accompanying them in their socio-educational processes so that, in a plural environment, they become active members of change towards a more cohesive and fairer society.

The Fundació Salut Alta is named after the neighbourhood where it is located. The neighbourhood of La Salut, especially the upper part, was built during the years of the migratory waves coming from the south of Spain. Since then it has not stopped welcoming people from more than 100 different countries, making the neighbourhood a space rich in diversity and multiculturalism. More than 18,500 people currently live in the neighbourhood, with a large presence of Pakistani and Moroccan families with school-age children.

AIQS Alumni more supportive than ever!

With this campaign, we are kicking off the new social strategy of the entity. This aims to place AIQS Alumni, and its community of more than 15,000 IQS alumni, at the forefront of social and solidarity initiatives, mainly in the field of education.
