Latest news about the journal Afinidad

AIQS Alumni has been publishing the journal Afinidad for over 100 years. The first issue was published in January 1921, and since then it has almost always been published without stop, first on paper and from 2008 on in a digital version only to make it more sustainable.

Affinity is a peer-reviewed journal that specializes in chemistry and chemical engineering and is indexed in the main databases (WOS and SCOPUS), located in the 4th quartile of the Journal Citation Reports.

In recent months there have been several changes to the management of the journal (the entire editorial process has been automated and all management is done from the IQS Library. It has become an open access journal without publication costs, and each article is assigned a DOI number). However, the biggest change is a commitment to greater internationalization that is reflected in the composition of the Journal’s editorial team as highlighted below:
