Advances in science and technology have applications to the improvement of sports practice, an example of which are the expeditions to Everest, which will be discussed by Conrad Blanch and Jordi Canals, two IQS alumni dedicated to mountain and snow sports, as practitioners and organisers of competitions and expeditions.
